Family Learning to Fly Fish Adventure- Come to Wilson’s and learn to fly fish! Little Forks Lodge has exclusive fishing rights to 13.5 km of the Little Southwest Miramichi river. The dining area runs down the middle of the lodge from the kitchen to the general lounge area. Upper Oxbow Outdoor Adventures: 4 Rods for 1 days Guided Striped Bass Fishing- Located on the banks of the Little Southwest Miramichi in Sillikers, NB this lodge has been operated by stewards of the river for 5 generations. The successful bidder will enjoy the beautiful onsite accommodations with full meals and guide services for striped bass fishing during the peak of the season. Rapid Water Lodge – Come to the Rapid Waters lodge and enjoy 2 days and 2 nights of fishing on the Main Southwest Miramichi river at Bloomfield Ridge, New Brunswick. The Lodge is situated on 3.8 acres with 387 feet of waterfront right on the Miramichi River. The 140-foot-long structure contains seven bedrooms, three bathrooms, a great room with a spectacular 18ft field stone fireplace, dining room, self-catering kitchen, pantry, laundry room, storage room, two covered porches and a screened room. The lodge is rustic and cozy, yet equipped with all the modern amenities that you want when getting away from it all. Meals and Guide not included. Rocky Bend Fishing Camp: Located between Rocky Brook and Clearwater Brook, this well-known private salmon fishing camp offers 7 productive pools, fabulous home-cooked meals, comfortable & relaxing accommodations and some of the finest river frontage found anywhere on the Miramichi. This trip is for 4 rods and includes two nights/three days of fishing – arrive mid-afternoon on Day One and leave right after lunch on Day Three. Vintage 1930 Hardy ‘UNIQUA’ Fly reel; cira 1930 – This 3 ¾” Hardy UNIQUA fly reel is a collector’s dream. Made and signed by Thomas Armstrong, who started reel making at Hardy in 1928. The reel is in exceptionally good condition and features all the quality workmanship and markings that a vintage collectable must have. However the real hallmark of this reel is the interior plate that reads “Made for James S. Neill & Sons, Fredericton NB”, giving this particular fly reel a very rare and most unique local pedigree. Donated by MSA Director Gary Stairs. Value: A must have collector’s item

‘Atlantic Salmon’ chromolithograph; cira 1901 – This highly collectable ‘Atlantic Salmon’ chromolithograph by well-known American sporting artist A.D. Turner is in fabulous condition, boasting original frame and updated archival matting and backing. Turner published in New York and he was a feature artist in the 1901 book entitled “Forest, Lake and River: The Fishes of New England and Eastern Canada”. Turner’s chromolithographs are among the most impressive of that period. Donated by MSA Director Gary Stairs. Value: $1,200 plus

Jerome Molloy flies (002)

Salmon Flies by Jerome Malloy- Jerome is a two-time consecutive winner of the World Fly Tying Competition sponsored by the Fédération Québécoise pour le saumon atlantique (FQSA). In 1995 he was inducted to the Master Fly Tyer’s Hall of Fame as well as the Atlantic Salmon Museum Hall of Fame in Doaktown. Living in Saint John, NB Jerome’s flies are sought after by both collectors and anglers alike. (Donated by Jerome Molloy) Value: Priceless

McDaniel

"MIramichi Tributary" by artist Henry McDaniel (1906-2008)- McDaniel is considered one of America’s acclaimed painters. Like artists of the Hudson River School, McDaniel painted streams, seascapes and landscapes as an outpouring of his passion for nature and to promote conservation. McDaniel was an avid angler and sportsman and his skill at portraying the effects of light and shade on the surface of water is the hallmark of his paintings.
