Please be advised that according to the warm water protocol in place for the Miramichi River system, starting tomorrow August 31, 2021, recreational angling will resume for all species of fish in 27 cold water pools on the Miramichi River, closed since August 13, 2021, following an improvement in water conditions.

Please take note that the 3 additional salmon pools remain closed to all angling due to hot water conditions.
