Our 2023 hatchery tour season has ended. If you are part of a funding group or affiliate conservation organization and would like to arrange for a private tour outside of the tour season, please email holly@miramichisalmon.ca or call 506-622-8739 during weekday office hours.
School Tours
Our school tour season runs from May 1st until June 15th. All school tours during this period are free of charge. To arrange a hatchery tour for your school, please email holly@miramichisalmon.ca or call 506-622-8739 during weekday office hours. During this period, tours are not open to the public.
Public Tours
Our public tour season runs from June 16th until August 31st. Public tours take place each Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 11am and 2pm. The cost is $10/adult and $5/child (under 12). All children must be accompanied by an adult. To help our operations run smoothly, we recommend that all visitors purchase or reserve their tour spot a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
Please Note
Hatchery tours are approximately one hour. For the biosecurity of our fish, you will be asked to use our sanitation station during the tour, and any visitors who have recently been on the river may be asked to wear a provided smock. Ahead of the tour, all visitors will be asked to sign a liability waiver. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, the Miramichi Salmon Association reserves the right to cancel tours at any time.
