Please be advised that the Miramichi River system that was previously closed (starting at 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next morning) is reopening to normal angling hours starting tomorrow August 9, 2024.

Please note that the 29 salmon pools on the Miramichi River system, that closed on July 4, 2024, will remain closed to angling for all species of fish until conditions improve.
