Barrier Counts June 9th – 15th, 2014
The traps went in on the Dungarvon and the Northwest Barriers the end of May. With the cold weather the slow arrival of fish was not a surprise.
This past week saw the first salmon arriving at the Northwest Barrier – this time last year there were still none that had reached the trap.

The Dungarvon Barrier had an earlier visitor and continues to see new fish (2 grilse and 3 salmon in total) but has not matched the number there the same time last year (5 grilse and 14 salmon).
