BASS SEASON TO BE EXTENDED
DFO has informed us this morning that the bass season will be extended until Sunday the 25th – and from Thursday the 22nd until Sunday the 25th the retention limit will move to 2 fish per day – same retention size limit of 50 – 65 cm. The retention limit stays at 1 until Thursday. Fishing has picked up over the weekend so get out and take advantage of these extra days!

Up the bag limit of bass would have been a great help to keep the bass numbers down. Think the bass have got the upper hand of the rivers.
Hope that retention limit will carry over for future seasons. Great for the salmon & the bass fishermen.
Can you confirm this? There is no such notice on DFO site this morning.
