Salmon Protection Barrier
Our MSA field team, along with ASF and NBSC, installed a barrier on the SW Miramichi River to protect salmon and other fish from the project area.
Fish Rescue
Under the guidance of the Working Group on Smallmouth Bass Eradication in Miramichi and with the help of other conservation partners and several volunteers, MSA dedicated several days to rescuing fish from the project area. This task was completed by gently herding fish with a funnel-shaped net, collecting them into oxygenated tanks, and transporting them to a distant and safe location.
