Please be informed that according to the warm water protocol in place for the Miramichi River, starting at 4:00pm on August 11, 2026, a portion of Miramichi River watershed will be reopening to normal angling hours following an improvement in water conditions.

Please note that the 29 salmon pools on the Miramichi River system, that closed on August 5, 2026, will remain closed to angling for all species of fish until conditions improve.
