Event Details
Our MSA US Winter Event is taking place Saturday, February 3rd at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth, ME. This event will begin at 5:30pm EST, and will be live-streamed for guests who would prefer to attend virtually. In-person attendees will enjoy an excellent buffet dinner with complimentary wine. Virtual attendees will receive a special gift instead of food and drink, and be treated to a narrated slide show of Scotland salmon fishing during dinner. The evening will also include silent and live auctions to fundraise for Atlantic salmon conservation on the Miramichi river.
Guest Speaker
Join special guest Sir Michael Wigan, owner of the Borrobol Estate on the River Helmsdale in the Northern Highlands of Scotland.
The Helmsdale vies with the River Naver for the unofficial title of best small salmon river in Scotland. Michael Wigan is an avid salmon fisherman, conservationist and author. He is the manager of the River Helmsdale Fishery Board, and has been involved in all aspects of stock enhancement including supervising the river’s hatchery operation and fry stocking program. Book titles by Michael Wigan include The Scottish Highland Estate, Stags at Bay, The Last of the Hunter Gatherers and The Salmon.

Tickets
Tickets for this event can be purchased in CAD by Canadian residents, at par. Tickets purchased in USD will qualify for a US donation tax receipt while tickets purchased in CAD will qualify for a Canadian donation tax receipt.
